Sequence block
It is the edit screen of the current sequence block selected on the sequence blocks screen. Sequence blocks can be changed forward and back by the keys <alt+F11/F12>, and parasites by the keys <ctrl+F11/F12>.
Display and functionality correspond with the Parasite detailed view of the Parasites screen apart from these differences.
  • There is no sequence block control lane. As this lane controls sequence blocks, there is no such lane of this type.
  • The properties of the lanes have been developed.
    • Note lane:
note usage mode defines what type of sequence the given lane is.
      • Static sequence:
The notes in the lane are played without a change when the sequence block is triggered.
      • Arpeggiator, poly:
The notes in the lane are put in order of pitch and are replaced by trigger notes also in order of pitch. The non-triggered notes are not played.
      • Arpeggiator, poly, auto octave:
The notes in the lane are put in order of pitch and are replaced by trigger notes also in order of pitch. Child notes equivalent but of a higher octave (sequence blocks) do not constitute a new element in the row. Their pitch is provided by the replaced value of the lowest parent note belonging to them (trigger notes) and the shift of the octave specified by the child. The non-triggered notes are not played.
      • Arpeggiator, mono:
The pitch of all the notes in the lane will shift by the difference of the lowest note in the lane and the trigger note pressed last (monophonic).
    • Control change lane:
The CC usage mode defines the method of using the control change values.
      • Static sequence:
The values in the lane are played without any changes when the sequence block is triggered.
      • Relative:
The values in the lane are added to the values played in the main track when the sequence block is triggered. In such a case, the scale will shift: the added value will be 0 in case of value 64, 63 in case of 127 and -64 in case of 0.
    • Pitch bend lane:
The PB usage mode defines the method of using the pitch bend values.
      • Static sequence:
The values in the lane are played without any changes when the sequence block is triggered.
      • Relative:
The values in the lane are added to the values played in the main track when the sequence block is triggered.
  • As <space> serves to play main tracks, the direct play of the sequence blocks is triggered by <tab>. In case of arpeggiator-type lanes, the demo notes set in the properties of the sequence block will use to trigger the sequence.
  • You can create a loop region by the <ctrl+l> and <ctrl+r> keys. If triggering occurs, this range is played looped until triggering stops.
